Was NST Bike Too Gnarly?

Was NST Bike Too Gnarly?

This mountain biking event was so gnarly, top pros barely survived it.

The Natural Selection Tour started back in 2008 as a snowboarding event, but last week they launched their first ever mountain biking competition in Queenstown in New Zealand.

Let’s just say the MTB world is shook.

The course featured huge Drops and XXL Doubles and so many repeated hits riders struggled to link them together with the right speeds.

A solid chunk of the world’s BEST riders couldn’t even make it to the finals like Tom Isted and Dylan Stark.

The trail builders from New Zealand went off to build this course but did they push the design too far?

In the end, Szymon Godziek and Cami Nogueira took the win, but both admitted they were just happy to survive the madness.

It feels like more riders are injured than ever right now.

Is this next-level progression, or are things getting too dangerous?
